It was all about the Gulls today.
A Loafing flock of 20 birds was made up of the following
Lesser Black Backed Gulls - 9, 3 1st Summers, 2 2nd Summers and 4 Adults
Herring Gull - 10, 4 1st Summers, 2 3rd Summers and 4 Adults,
Yellow Legged Gull - 1 , Advanced 1st Summer - only the 2nd Record for Furzton , following an adult last year.
a 1st Summer Black Headed Gull also joined the mix
Also present were a minimum of 9 Grey Herons (plus at least 4 young in nest still ) , 8 Great Crested Grebes and 4 Coots.
Still 3 Cormorants
