A sad discovery this evening was the corpse of a freshly dead COMMON TERN , near the Inlet , it was in bushes (!) so was presumably moved there by person or animal unknown !

Again , not much happening , 2 BARN SWALLOWS , 3 Herring Gulls and 11 Great Crested Grebes were the only birds of note !
