An unusual visit ..... I left the car , i walked the northern edge in the hopes of wagtails and pipits , in the normal style ..... there were none , but there was .... 15 Great Crested Grebes , mostly paired up , but still a loafing loose flock of 5
Minimum of 7 Grey Herons onsite , the 4 attending the nest and 3 Adults having a scrap near the sluice , one drew blood !
Otherwise , 5 Black Headed Gulls , 10+ Moorhen , 3 Coot. 2 Ad Herring Gulls on Wooden Island
